Single Service
You know what service your manuscript needs and you're looking for a one-time service. You can choose any level for one editing pass. I will provide the requested level of attention to your manuscript. I may include additional notes if applicable to the service and your manuscript's needs. You may choose add-ons as well.
Developmental Editing: A deep dive, big-picture edit with editorial notes. 8-10 weeks. $15 per 1000 words.
Manuscript Critique: A deep dive, big-picture evaluation. 8-10 weeks. $14 per 1000 words.
Line/Copy Edit: Sentence level corrections and suggestions to tighten prose. You may choose light or heavy. 6-8 weeks. $12-13 per 1000 words.
Proofread: A final check for errors in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and formatting. 2-4 weeks. $8 per 1000 words.
Custom Packages
You want to customize your editing experience. You'd like more than one editing round, multiple levels of editing, interior formatting, or a little of everything! This package is especially helpful for preparing you for self-publishing. You choose the editing levels, number of passes, and any add-ons available and we create a custom plan for your manuscript. This package includes special discounted pricing to accommodate your needs.
Choose multiple rounds and levels of editing from Developmental Editing, Line/Copy Editing, and Proofreading. You may choose any add-on options as well. This package includes free proofreading of front and back matter of the book. Pricing is discounted and the timeline is flexible, planned up front or as we go.
Nonfiction Editing
You have written a newsletter, article, essay, or other nonfiction project. You may have been working on one long piece or multiple short pieces. Now you're looking for a fresh pair of eyes. I will check for clarity of ideas, overall flow of the piece, and double-check citations, if necessary. You may request either a Copy Edit or Proofread. You will receive editorial comments, and technical corrections and suggestions based on your chosen editing level.

Self-Publishing Add-Ons
Your manuscript is fully edited and you're preparing your book for publication. There is a lot of additional material to prepare. Choose from these add-ons to put the final touches on your book. Pricing is flat rate based on the amount of content.
Front and Back Matter Copy Editing: Light sentence-level suggestions.
Front and Back Matter Proofreading: Final error check only.
Supplemental Material Proofreading: For items such as social media posts or ads.
Interior Formatting: ebook, paperback, or both.
